Leave a Legacy The J.S. and Lillie Abercrombie Legacy Society

Legacy givers play a vital role in Texas Children’s future. Join the J.S. and Lillie Abercrombie Legacy Society today.

Make your legacy count

The J.S. and Lillie Abercrombie Legacy Society is named for two of our early and most significant benefactors: James Smither and Lillie Abercrombie. The society honors people who include Texas Children’s Hospital in their will, trust or other long-term plans.

Through your membership in the Abercrombie Legacy Society, you help Texas Children’s keep the clear promise upon which it was founded in 1954: a promise to serve all children regardless of their families’ ability to pay.

Texas Children’s has grown dramatically since then to include 4 hospitals and numerous physician offices and urgent care and specialty clinics. Throughout these changes, we have faithfully kept our promise for more than 65 years.

Your estate planning can help continue this lasting legacy and ensure Texas Children’s life-changing care continues far into the future. Together, we can create a healthier future for families throughout our community.

Plan Your Legacy

You are eligible to join the Abercrombie Legacy Society when you name Texas Children’s as a beneficiary of your will or living trust, retirement plan, life insurance policy, or life-income gift such as a charitable gift annuity or charitable trust. If you have already included Texas Children’s in your estate or other plans, we are grateful. Simply let us know so we may welcome you into the Abercrombie Legacy Society.
