Pavilion for Women Amenities
You might feel like you’re away on a spa vacation during your visit to the Texas Children's Pavilion for Women. Here’s the scoop on all the amenities you and your family can experience to make your stay more comfortable.
Dining and refreshment
Visit Coffee Corner for Starbucks® coffee, tea, smoothies and a variety of grab-and-go selections. Look for it on the third floor near the bridge.
Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday - Sunday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Named the Best Café in the Texas Medical Center, The Café serves delicious food Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s located near Coffee Corner on the third floor near the bridge and Admissions.
Our experienced catering staff can assist you with planning your special event. Call 832-826-3663 to speak with our catering manager about options such as family meals, high teas and hors d’oeuvres.
Patient meal selections to be delivered by room service are available seven days a week by calling 832-826-3463. Meals will be freshly prepared and in your room within 45 minutes of your phone order. Guest meals are available for an additional charge.
Every new mother and one guest receive a celebration meal after the child is born.
Bella Luna Boutique
The Bella Luna Boutique is a retail oasis that offers a collection of gifts for everyone from newborns to grandparents. You’ll find newborn gifts, toys and stuffed animals, self-care items, nursing supplies, figurines, household items, fashions and more. Call the boutique at 832-826-8000.
Support for breastfeeding mothers
Located inside Bella Luna, the Baby Bistro offers useful tools to create a strong foundation for successful breastfeeding and bonding with your new baby.
Outpatient breastfeeding consultation, with a board-certified lactation consultant, is available by appointment. Reach us at 832-826-8881.
Hospital-grade electric breast pumps and baby weigh scales are available for rent by calling 832-826-8000. Numerous nursing products, including nursing bras, are available for purchase.
Suites and amenity packages
Four elegantly appointed, spacious suites in the Mother-Baby rooms provide premium comfort for you and your family. Among the special touches are:
- Deluxe bedding
- Fully stocked refrigerator, a basket of snacks and a selection of coffee and tea
- Gourmet menu selection
- Swaddle receiving blanket
- Up to three days of valet parking
Massage therapy
Enjoy massage therapy in your room or in the Bella Luna boutique. Our experienced therapists offer numerous types of massage including pre- and post-natal, infant, Swedish and manual lymphatic drainage therapy.
A half-hour massage is $45, and one hour is $75. Chair massages are $1 per minute. Appointments are available from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday-Thursday. Start relaxing by calling 832-826-2556 for an appointment.
Bedside spa services
Indulge in a wide array of bedside spa services all within the privacy of your own personal room. Enjoy European-style manicures, aromatherapy pedicures, rejuvenating facials, mineral makeup application and much more! Contact 713-438-7878 for more information and to schedule an appointment.
Professional photography
Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women has an in-house, professional photography service. A photography staff member will stop by once your baby is born to discuss options.
A space to pray and reflect
Texas Children’s Spiritual Care Department serves all faiths. Access its nondenominational chapel on the West Tower’s third floor through the third floor Pavilion for Women bridge.
Our lending library
Pi Beta Phi book nooks, located throughout the hospital, provide a variety of books for your enjoyment. Call 832-826-1619 to learn more.
