Personal Statement
I completed all of my medical training at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital and have a passion for the high quality patient care our institution delivers. During my Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship, my research focused on resource utilization in skin and soft tissue infections (SSTI), and I am continuing to focus my research on SSTI. Additionally, I am interested in cultural competency and quality improvement. I am pursuing a Masters in Public Health with a focus on healthcare disparities and plan to use this training to concentrate on the provision of equitable care in medicine.
