Personal Statement
Since joining Texas Children’s Hospital in 2015, Ms. Spear has showed her passion for pediatric patients and their families. Her background includes general pediatrics and most recently the Department of Surgery. As a Physician Assistant, Ms. Spear is dedicated to delivering compassionate and exceptional patient care to children. Her background and experience have further driven her passion for providing a collaborative family-centered relationship with patients to develop a comprehensive treatment plan.
Ms. Spear believes in using evidence-based practice and research to improve the future of healthcare in children. Her research interests include utilizing a holistic treatment approach for children with sleep disorders and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) adherence.
