Texas Children's Hospital welcomes associate radiologist-in-chief, Dr. Lane Donnelly

HOUSTON - (March 11, 2015) -Texas Children's Hospital is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Lane Donnelly as associate radiologist-in-chief. Donnelly, whose appointment was effective March 1, will also be a senior faculty member in the Department of Radiology at Baylor College of Medicine. "I am thrilled to welcome Dr. Donnelly to our team," said Dr. George S. Bisset III, radiologist-in-chief at Texas Children's Hospital and professor of radiology at Baylor. "His specialized clinical, research and leadership experience will continue to advance our radiology program."

Donnelly earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University and his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati and his fellowship in pediatric radiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Donnelly is a nationally recognized physician and scholar with accomplishments in research, multidisciplinary care, teaching, patient safety and quality improvement. His clinical interests include pediatric chest and abdominal imaging and imaging of obstructive sleep apnea. Donnelly is also a trustee of the American Board of Radiology and has served on the board of directors of the Society for Pediatric Radiology.

Texas Children's Department of Pediatric Radiology provides timely, comprehensive imaging procedures for pediatric patients as well as an unparalleled, collaborative research environment for both clinical and basic researchers.
