    Honor Roll

The 2015-16 edition of Best Children's Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report once again placed Texas Children's Hospital on the Honor Roll of best pediatric institutions. Texas Children’s is the only hospital in Texas awarded this distinction.

    Subspecialty Rankings

In addition to ranking children’s hospitals overall, U.S. News also ranks the top 50 pediatric hospitals in each of 10 major subspecialty areas. This year, Texas Children's ranks in the top five in six subspecialties. Texas Children's national rankings for each subspecialty area are:

    #4: Cancer
    #2: Cardiology and heart surgery
    #10: Diabetes and endocrinology
    #4: Nephrology (kidney disorders)
    #2: Neurology and neurosurgery
    #2: Pulmonology
    #3: Urology

Receiving high rankings in a minimum of 3 specialties qualifies Texas Children’s for the 2015-16 Best Children’s Hospitals Honor Roll, a distinction awarded to only 12 pediatric hospitals nationwide.
