    Our clinic provides psychiatric evaluations and pharmacological management of neuropsychiatric symptomatology. We treat a range of conditions including:

    • Complicated ADHD
    • Autistic spectrum disorders
    • Anxiety
    • Mood disorders
    • Tics
    • Tourette's syndrome
    • Psychiatric and psychological symptoms that occur with other medical conditions

    Target symptoms that may respond to pharmacological intervention are identified, quantified and followed as a function of pharmacological intervention. The clinic provides supervision and consultation to pediatricians, child psychiatrists and mental health professionals working with children.

    Bipolar disorder

    Texas Children’s Hospital Child and Adolescent Bipolar Disorders Program is a family-based program using a comprehensive approach in the evaluation and management of children and adolescents with bipolar disorder.

    Each patient and their family members will receive a treatment plan including medication management and family therapy focused on education, skill building, communication training, and problem-solving techniques.

    Families must first call the Texas Children’s Hospital Behavioral and Development Referral Center at 832-822-1900. Your information and eligibility for the program will be reviewed and evaluated prior to scheduling an appointment.

    Postpartum depression

    Cases of postpartum depression among new mothers are evaluated and treated at Texas Children's Pavilion for Women.
